AMANDA HUNT & IV CASTELLANOS

Amanda Hunt and IV Castellanos are performing artists based in Brooklyn, NY. For the last two years, they have collaborated and performed in numerous venues across NYC, including Danspace Project, Gibney Dance Center, Panoply Performance Laboratory, Chez Bushwick (AIR 2017-2018), and more. They have performed nationally in Los Angeles (Highways Performance Space), and Santa Fe (The Aha Festival), and Rosekill (Rosendale, NY). Their work is rooted in a rigorous physical vocabulary and task-based actions, with an emphasis on the concept of labor. 

'Construct a world if only for a moment. Deconstruct a world if only for a moment.' The pair will perform on Thursday, April 12 in Rogers during Art on the Bricks.
