INVERSE NWA 2018

AMBER EGGLETON

Through Sculpture and performance, Amber Eggleton discusses the missteps we can make during the attempt to share information. Romanticizing memories of her own and the experiences of others, she seeks to build and become a part of relationships out of moments that do not belong to her. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University and participated in the post-baccalaureate program at the University of Arkansas. Eggleton is currently the artist in residence at the Community Creative Center and a member of the Fenix Fayetteville. She has shown at “Fenix and Friends” at the Walker Stone House, (Fayetteville, Arkansas), Inverse Performance Festival, (Fayetteville, Arkansas), "Nude" at Backspace, (Fayetteville, Arkansas), "The Big Show" at Lawndale Art Center (Houston, Texas), and "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow V", (Huntsville, Texas).

Eggleton will perform on Thursday, April 12 in Rogers during Art on the Bricks.
