Heather Younger Morton is an conceptual artist with her MFA in Visual Art from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is on track to graduate as a Graduate Gemologist from GIA this year. Heather's interest on the pressure of time flows throughout her artwork, relationships, and daily life as an independent brand ambassador. She comes from a long line of rock hounds and cave dwellers and enjoys digging, creating, and sharing in the natural state of Arkansas.
Morton will perform on Thursday, April 12 in Rogers during Art on the Bricks. In this performance Heather is responding to work culture, and will be calling on the community to consider how they fill their time and validate their own progress. We all create everyday problems that we solve for ourselves. Through the washing of locally sourced materials, Morton will b calling on the community to consider how they fill their time and validate their own progress. You're invited to take a rock with you as a tribute to Heather's hard work.
