B. Salt Lake City, Utah. Torres is a Latina ex-Mormon currently attending School of the Art Institute Chicago pursuing an MFA in Performance. Torres is a seasoned art educator, and teaching artist working within museum institutions, community centers and public schools. Her practice analyzes representations of strength throughout history, reinterpreting them within the focus of gender and race.

Courtney Brown is a Chicano artist and organizer from the suburban "Bible Belt" of Dallas, Texas. Grounded in Lakota ritual and autobiography, her public and private performance work is contoured by the poetic and political-- tracing loss, absence and reclamation through hybrid cultural identity building, diasporic aesthetics and indigeneity, intergenerational trauma and performing resistance.

Entity - Fayetteville, AR
Entity is an experimental dance group consisting of April Robertson, Shannon Terry, Avery Martin, and Missy Conry. Entity was formed by Roberston, a member of Portico Dance Company in Tulsa, who then transferred to Fayetteville. Entity has performed at Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. Entity also has hosted an event at Fayetteville Underground called “The Mesh”, which showcased their dance performances and several local artist’s short films.
