BAHAR B. FARAZ

Bahar B. Faraz's work takes a critical and at the same time personal view of social, political and cultural issues.  Faraz challenges gender, the rolls society imposes on her as a woman and as an Iranian. She challenges the social norms from a female point of view. Faraz tries to understand her body and use is in a therapeutic way to conquer the difficulties that she has experienced in her life.

Bahar B. Faraz will be performing on Thursday, April 12 in Rogers during Art on the Bricks. She will also perform on Saturday, April 14 at Stage Eighteen in Fayetteville in participation with Lip Service: a panel on Intersectionality.
